Bradenton woman arrested for DUI

A motorist who allegedly failed to drive in her lane was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Margaret Stockford, 22, of Bradenton, was arrested early Nov. 6 by the Holmes Beach Police Department.

Officer Alan Bores arrived after Officer Mike Walker stopped and approached the motorist. Bores observed Stockford had red, watery eyes, according to the HBPD report.

She allegedly told Bores she was taking medication for opiate dependence.

After she was administered field sobriety tests, HBPD transported Stockford to the Manatee County jail.

She provided breath samples that measured 0.105 and 0.101 blood alcohol content. The legal limit is 0.08.

She posted $500 bond and was released.

Stockford’s court arraignment is set for Dec. 7 at the Manatee County Judicial Center, 1051 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
