The Florida Department of Transportation issued the following:
• SR 789/Gulf Drive from 27th Street to SR 64/Manatee Avenue: Crews are constructing a sidewalk and trolley shelters, making drainage improvements, installing pavement markings and signs 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Expect daytime lane closures and flagging operations.
• SR 684/Cortez Road to SR 789/Gulf Drive: Maintenance crews are making concrete sidewalk repairs at the corner of SR 684 and SR 789. Expect periodic sidewalk closures through mid-December.
