A motorist lost his driving privileges for six months for driving impaired in Holmes Beach.
Daulton Jordan, 22, of Bradenton, pleaded no contest Jan. 13 to driving under the influence of alcohol and not registering his vehicle and driver’s license in the state after 30 days of employment.
Twelfth Judicial Circuit Judge Doug Henderson found Jordan guilty on all counts.
For the DUI, Jordan was sentenced to 12 months probation in addition to the six-month license suspension.
Before Jordan’s Dec. 13 arrest, an HBPD officer observed him drifting from his lane in a vehicle with a South Carolina tag and stopped the vehicle east of the Anna Maria Island Bridge.
Jordan gave the officer his South Carolina driver’s license and told the officer he’d been at a Holmes Beach bar.
For the driver’s license and vehicle registration offenses, Henderson sentenced him to credit for time served in the Manatee County jail.
Jordan also must complete DUI school, evaluation and treatment, if necessary, and 50 hours of public service, according to court records.
According to court records, Jordan must pay $1,741 in court costs.
