A black 1997 Honda sedan flipped onto its roof in the 5300 block of Gulf Drive in the business district in Holmes Beach.
At about 6:27 p.m. Feb. 19 traveling north and turning west at the S-curve on Gulf Drive, a 57-year-old Holmes Beach woman failed to negotiate the curve, struck a palm tree and the vehicle overturned in the middle of the road, according to the Holmes Beach traffic crash report.
The report stated neither the driver nor her 34-year-old passenger were administered emergency medical services or transported to a medical facility.
The woman was ticketed for careless driving.
