A 27-year-old Palmetto man was arrested March 7 by Bradenton Beach police for allegedly stealing a motorcycle.
Vernon Everett was riding southbound, undertaking an illegal pass at 1:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Gulf Drive, when he was spotted by BBPD Officer John Tsakiri.
Determining the motorcycle had been stolen out of Manatee County in 2015, the officer arrested Everett and transported him to the Manatee County jail.
A $1,500 bond was posted and Everest was released.
Everett’s arraignment is set for at 9 a.m. Friday, April 8, in the Manatee County Judicial Center, 1051 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
