March 19, 200 block of Spruce Avenue, fraud. A man from Iowa arrived in Anna Maria for a week at a vacation rental and discovered the residence already rented. He said his rental agreement was a fraud.
March 20, 100 block of Pine Avenue, disorderly conduct. MCSO arrested an uncooperative and intoxicated man who first reported his car stolen, found it and punched the trunk of the car several times while yelling and screaming.
March 21, The Center of Anna Maria Island, 407 Magnolia Ave., mischief. Unknown persons removed the tennis court gate from its hinges and scattered tennis balls on the courts. The gate was rehung.

Bradenton Beach
March 27, 200 Bridge St. anchorage, domestic battery. Bradenton Beach police were dispatched to a report of a woman striking a man in the face and neck while cursing at him. The man refused to sign a complaint. Police arrested the 37-year-old woman after determining she was the aggressor. She was transported and booked at Manatee County jail.
March 29, 100 block of Third Street North, threat/harassment. On patrol, an officer saw a woman who had run from an apartment where a former boyfriend threatened to break her legs. The woman had come to the police station and told BBPD about similar threats a few days earlier. She signed a complaint and BBPD requested the state attorney issue a warrant for the man’s arrest.
March 31, Via Roma Beach Resort, disturbance. A manager reported a Bradenton man refused to leave the resort after he allegedly caused a disturbance the night before. After BBPD arrived, the man left.

Holmes Beach
March 19, Anchor Inn, 3007 Gulf Drive, theft. A wallet was reported stolen from a table in the bar. Holmes Beach police viewed a video of the incident, interviewed suspects and witnesses and requested warrants for theft for two suspects.
March 20, Martinique South, 5200 Gulf Drive, warrant/trespass. Holmes Beach police arrested one man on two warrants and trespassed three other people. They were found swimming in a condo pool without permission.
March 23, Anna Maria Island Beach Cafe, 4000 Gulf Drive, trespass. A former employee was trespassed at the manager’s request.
