March 27, 100 block of South Bay Boulevard, stolen/found property. A Bradenton man reported he’d left a cellphone on a trolley seat. The trolley driver told a Manatee County Sheriff’s deputy he might have seen a woman holding up a black phone.

Bradenton Beach
April 4, Circle K, 103 Gulf Drive N., trespass warning. A woman was issued a trespass warning after a Bradenton Beach police officer responded to a woman being disrespectful to store employees.
April 5, 500 Gulf Drive N. crosswalk, suspicious circumstances. Without apparent reason, a pedestrian crosswalk signal was found knocked off its pole. Police found no impact to the pole, no vehicle parts and no skid marks in the vicinity. The signal was valued at $3,000.

Cortez
March 29, 4500 block of 119th Street West, domestic battery. A Manatee County sheriff’s deputy investigated a report of a woman being hit by a man. The people involved had lived together for a year. Upon arriving at the residence, the deputy asked the man what happened. The suspect allegedly told the officer he and the victim had been drinking and arguing, and acknowledged he’d slapped the woman in the face. MCSO arrested the alleged aggressor and he was transported to Manatee County jail.

Holmes Beach
March 24, 600 block of Gladstone Lane, domestic battery. An argument over the bed covers ended with a woman being struck in the chest. The alleged aggressor complained of difficulty breathing and back pain and was transported to Blake Medical Center. The suspect was medically cleared and transported to Manatee County jail. The alleged victim filed an affidavit of non-prosecution April 7 in 12th Circuit Court.
April 1, 100 block of 30th Street South on the beach, alcohol violations. A 52-year-old woman from New York was cited for giving alcohol to three juveniles. Four alcohol citations were issued. Three emptied open containers and one full bottle of Seagrams Escapes were confiscated.
April 1, Manatee Public Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive, theft. A parking decal was stolen off a parked car.
