A Holmes Beach woman is serving 12 months probation after pleading no contest to driving under the influence.
Twelfth Circuit Judge Mark Singer found Stephanie Schenk, 21, guilty in December 2015 of DUI and sentenced her to the probation and 50 hours of public service.
Holmes Beach Police Department and Manatee County Sheriff’s Office combined to make Schenk’s arrest in September after her car was observed crossing traffic lanes on Gulf Drive and Manatee Avenue in Holmes Beach.
The judge also suspended her driver’s license for six months, impounded her vehicle for 10 days, ordered her to complete DUI school and a victim-impact panel and assessed more than $1,800 in fines and costs.
