A man who allegedly had “a couple of beers after work” was arrested for driving under the influence in Holmes Beach.
Parrish Cuellar, 51, of Parrish was driving in the 6000 block of Marina Drive at 1:28 a.m. April 18 when a Holmes Beach police officer clocked the vehicle traveling 51-mph in a 35-mph zone.
The officer ticketed Cuellar for speeding and failing to update his driver’s license address.
He provided breath samples at Manatee County jail measuring 0.137 and 0.131 blood-alcohol content. The legal limit is 0.08.
Cuellar posted a $500 bond and was released.
His arraignment is at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, at the Manatee County Judicial Center, 1051 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
