June 29, 100 block of 13th Street South, warrants. An Englewood man was arrested by Bradenton Beach police while doing repairs at a residence. Police were alerted to his presence and arrested him on warrants out of Oklahoma and Sarasota.

Holmes Beach
June 27, the beach and 52nd Street, alcohol violations. Holmes Beach police officers responded to a complaint of alcohol on the beach. Five 19-year-olds and one 18-year-old were observed drinking beer. The suspects were cited for violating the city ordinance against alcohol on the beach. They threw out the beer remaining in their cooler at the beach access.
June 28, Publix, 3900 E. Bay Drive, theft. A store manager reported a shoplifter stole $32.30 in groceries and left in a maroon truck. Police were unable to locate the suspect. The manager gave police a video and receipt for the stolen items.
June 30, the beach and 2900 block of Gulf Drive, alcohol violations. An officer observed three 20-year-olds with multiple beer cans. The officer cited them for violating the city’s no-alcohol-on-the-beach ordinance.
