June 26, 300 block of North Bay Boulevard, disturbance. Four people were reported yelling outside a vehicle at about 1:50 a.m. in Bayfront Park. A bag of marijuana was found outside the vehicle. A deputy collected the drug for disposal by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. Family members of the four people from Bradenton arrived to drive them home. A ticket was issued for parking after hours.
June 29, 200 block of South Bay Boulevard, information. A woman, who told Manatee County Sheriff’s Office she’d been renting but not living at the apartment for three years, arrived and found it filled with construction debris. The woman said she was attempting to resolve the situation with her landlord.
June 30, 200 block of Chilson Avenue, burglary. A Rolex watch valued at $10,000 was reported missing from an unsecured vehicle.
July 1, 400 block of Alamanda, lost property. A vacationer reported her wedding ring missing after leaving it on a kitchen counter. It was valued at $5,000.
July 2, 8900 block of Gulf Drive, traffic. A woman motorist was jailed after MCSO stopped her for passing a vehicle and using a bike lane and it was determined she was driving on a canceled license.
July 3, Rod & Reel Pier, 875 N. Shore Drive, theft. An unknown person stole a rod and reel from the pier and fled. It was valued at $280.

Bradenton Beach
July 12, 200 block of Avenue C, trespass. A 51-year-old man was issued a trespass warning from an apartment.
July 16, 100 block of Second Street North. suspicious circumstances. A woman reported she returned to her vehicle to find a door ajar and seats in a back position. Bradenton Beach police responded. Nothing was reported missing.

Cortez
July 4, Cortez Road West and 115th Street, Baker Act. A man told police he wanted to jump into traffic. The police determined he likely would harm himself or others and transported him to a medical facility.

Holmes Beach
July 2, the beach and 38th Street, alcohol violation. A 50-year-old Anna Maria man was cited for alcohol on the beach after an officer observed beer in a bag.
July 2, 400 block of Clark Drive, fraud. A woman from Shaker Heights, Ohio, was scammed by a vacation rental fraudster on an internet website, Flipkey. She paid $1,625 through Paypal and, when she sought final directions, the phone number and email were disconnected. The accommodation owner confirmed he hadn’t rented to the woman.
July 2, 5300 block of Sunrise Lane, burglary. A depth finder with a 4-inch screen was stolen from an 18-foot fiberglass boat. It was valued at $284.
July 3, 100 block of 72nd Street, burglary. An unknown person came into the fenced yard and stole a cooler valued at $400 and a $100 woman’s bathing suit.
July 4, 600 block of Key Royale, boat burglary. A white male in his 30s in a white 16-foot flat bottom boat was reported seen near a 33-foot outboard motor boat that recently had its window broken and wires cut to five electronics devices.
July 4, the beach and 4000 Gulf Drive, alcohol violations. Three underage males were reported as drinking on the beach near the lifeguard tower. Holmes Beach police responded and issued citations.
July 4, 100 block of 67th Street, alcohol violation. A 17-year-old girl was cited for consuming alcohol on the beach after being reported as intoxicated. She provided breath samples of 0.155 and 0.165. Her parents were called.
July 4, 6000 block of Gulf Drive, criminal mischief. Alerted by a car alarm, the owner of the vehicle parked in a garage observed a car window broken and three juveniles running away. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicle.
July 4, 6000 block of Gulf Drive, theft. Tools valued at $65 were stolen from an unlocked car parked in a garage.
July 5, Publix, 3900 E. Bay Drive, theft. A decal from a license plate was reported stolen.
July 5, Hurricane Hanks Pub & Grub, 5346 Gulf Drive, trespass. A 37-year-old New Jersey man was trespassed after a problem and a warning earlier in the day.
July 6, West Coast Surf Shop, 3902 Gulf Drive, trespass warnings. HBPD responded to a shoplifting in progress — a girl who had put a shirt in her purse. She was with a friend and both were issued trespass warnings.
