Bradenton Beach Mayor Bill Shearon met with talk show host Chelsea Handler March 15 for an interview that Handler said will be available for viewing July 7 on Netflix. The focus of her show “Chelsea” will be on his experience with the November 2015 election, when the vote that put him back in office was tied with then-Mayor Jack Clarke. The tie resulted in a draw from a deck of cards, won by Shearon on the ace of clubs. Shearon also was interviewed regarding the city anchorage area last week for a broadcast of “Roundtable” with Hayley Wielgus of ABC-7 Sarasota.
