A dispute between two men who live aboard boats in Bradenton Beach ended in Holmes Beach.

Everett Hodapp, 47, was arrested Oct. 27 for aggravated battery after Holmes Beach police found the victim at 2:49 p.m. with two teeth knocked out in the parking lot at Citgo, 3015 Gulf Drive.

The two men had taken a trolley from Bradenton Beach prior to the incident, according to a police report.

The victim told police Hodapp struck him with his fist and fled.

HBPD arrested Hodapp later in the day at the boat anchorage, 200 Bridge St., and transported him to the Manatee County jail.

Bradenton Beach police had arrested Hodapp in August for allegedly striking another man in the face at a trolley stop in Bradenton Beach.

The state declined prosecution in September because of a lack of victim cooperation and insufficient evidence.

For the Oct. 27 arrest, Hodapp’s bond was set at $15,000.

Hodapp entered a not-guilty plea Nov. 1.

He was in custody at press time.

His arraignment is 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at the Manatee County Judicial Center, 1051 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
