Although two seats on the West Manatee Fire Rescue Board were scheduled for re-election in 2016, the board will remain unchanged.
Commissioners Larry Jennis and Randy Cooper were the sole candidates who qualified for the Nov. 8 election, automatically earning them each another four-year term.
The next election for the commission will be in 2018, when commissioners Dave Bishop, George Harrison and Al Robinson reach the end of their terms.
