A Cortez woman arrested for driving under the influence in Holmes Beach pleaded no contest Nov. 22 and was sentenced to 12 months probation.
Alicia Moore, 30, of Cortez, was adjudicated guilty for DUI with 0.15 or higher blood-alcohol after Holmes Beach Police Department pulled her vehicle over in August. An officer reported she had failed to stay in her own lane in the 3200 block of Gulf Drive.
Moore provided two breath samples, measuring more than twice the legal limit of 0.08.
She was released from Manatee County jail Aug. 26, the same day she was booked.
Twelfth Circuit Judge Doug Henderson ordered her to complete DUI school, a victim-impact panel and 50 hours of public service. He also ordered her vehicle impounded for 10 days.
Moore was assessed $2,366 in court costs.
She also pleaded no contest to driving on a suspended license and Henderson sentenced her to time served.
