A Bradenton man caught driving under the influence in Holmes Beach was sentenced Dec. 6 to 12 months probation.
Dale Decola, 30, pleaded no contest to the charge of DUI with 0.15 or higher.
Twelfth Circuit Judge Charles Sniffin found him guilty and ordered him to a DUI school and victim-impact panel. He also suspended Decola’s driver’s license for six months and impounded his vehicle for 10 days.
According to police reports, Decola blew more than triple the 0.08 blood-alcohol limit in July after Holmes Beach police stopped him for swerving in the 5200 block of Gulf Drive North.
The motorist provided two breath samples measuring 0.256 and 0.249 blood alcohol content, according to police reports.
The judge ordered 50 hours community service work and assessed $1,816 in court costs and fines.
