Nov. 21, 600 block of Gladiolus, burglary. An owner reported a forced entry.
Nov. 23, Island Scooter, 9908 Gulf Drive, civil dispute. An owner reported a scooter returned by a customer with damage.
Nov. 25, 90 block of North Shore Drive, information. Responding to a call, a Manatee County sheriff’s deputy found a woman crying in the road. The woman told the officer she argued with her husband, but there had been no physical altercation. The deputy transported the woman to her Holmes Beach rental home.

Bradenton Beach
Nov. 23, Sports Lounge, 118 Bridge St., trespass warning. A bartender flagged down a Bradenton Beach police officer and requested a 45-year-old man be trespassed. The bartender told the man in the officer’s presence he was no longer welcome on the property. The officer then warned the man not to return or he would face arrest.
Nov. 28, 2200 block of Avenue B, property damage. $500 in damage to a white PVC fence occurred Nov. 23-28. The owner told police he believed a vehicle backed into the fence.

Cortez
Nov. 19, 4300 block 123rd Street West, battery. Two family members were drinking and arguing when one person allegedly slapped the other. The alleged aggressor was arrested at about 9:15 p.m. and transported to the Manatee County jail.
Nov. 21, Tide Tables Restaurant and Marina, 12507 Cortez Road W., suspicious incidents. A caller reported a woman in her early 20s acting crazy and upset. MCSO deputies responded twice and were unable to locate the woman. On the second time out, a man handed a deputy a cellphone that had been ringing next to the woman before she walked away. MCSO was unable to determine the phone ownership and held it for safekeeping.
Nov. 28, Seafood Shack marina, 4110 127th St. W., theft. The owner of a boat reported numerous items, valued at $3,175, stolen from her boat. The owner had rented the boat to a captain, who she had served with eviction papers.

Holmes Beach
Nov. 13, Manatee Public Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive, domestic battery. A man punched a woman in the face at the beach trolley stop and left. The two had argued about taking a picture at the beach. The woman refused medical treatment and a friend took her home. Holmes Beach police sent a request for the man’s arrest to the state attorney’s office.
Nov. 16, 500 block of 56th Street, burglary. A break-in sometime prior to Nov. 14 and stolen Bose radio, valued at $400, were reported.
Nov. 16, 400 block of 62nd Street, larceny. A blue Huffy Cruiser bicycle with a wire basket and a bag attached to the handlebars was taken from a residence Nov. 15-16. The bicycle was valued at $200.
Nov. 17, 3000 block of Gulf Drive, ordinance violation. Responding to a call about two suspicious males, Holmes Beach police officers observed a man stumbling on the street and asked what was in the cup the man was holding. After the 57-year-old said “beer,” police issued a notice to appear in court for possessing an open container of alcohol.
Nov. 17, 200 block of 29th Street, warrant. In response to a report of two suspicious males, HBPD arrested a 32-year-old man on an outstanding Manatee County warrant. The man was transported to the county jail.
Nov. 18, Manatee Public Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive, ordinance violation. A man sleeping in a mini-van parked in the beach lot after the park closed was issued a ticket for camping against city ordinance.
Nov. 20, 4400 block of Gulf Drive, burglary. A $7,000 diamond wedding ring was stolen after a forced entry, possibly 6-9 p.m. Nov. 18, when the family was at the beach.
