Nov. 22, 100 block of Hammock Road, burglary. An owner reported a forced entry into a residence.
Nov. 28, Ginny’s & Jane E’s at the Old IGA, 9707 Gulf Drive, suspicious incident. The shop received an alarming message interpreted as a possible bomb threat. Manatee County sheriff’s deputies responded and interviewed witnesses. MCSP determined there was no threat.

Bradenton Beach
Nov. 29, 2400 block of Avenue C, criminal mischief. A property manager reported an object smashed a window in the front door of a residence. The window was valued at $600.
Nov. 30, Circle K, 100 Gulf Drive, warrant arrest. Bradenton Beach police arrested a 39-year-old man on Monroe County warrants. He was on the front porch of the store.

Cortez
Nov. 25, 4400 block of 124th Street, overdose. A family member found a man losing consciousness and called for emergency medical treatment. EMS administered two doses of Narcan. The man was revived and transported to a hospital for further treatment. Possible drugs and paraphernalia were present in the room where the man was found.
Cortez is policed by the MCSO.
Holmes Beach
Dec. 1, 500 block of 72nd St., burglary. An owner returned home after six weeks and found items missing valued at $6,500, including silverware, designer dresses and coins. There was no forced entry.
