Anna Maria

Dec. 19, 200 block of Willow Avenue, domestic dispute. A man and a woman argued. No injuries were observed or reported.

Bradenton Beach

Cortez

Dec. 14, 4200 block of Marina Court, theft. A male docked a kayak and lowered a 9-foot motor boat from a lift. When a witness questioned him about what he was doing, his response was he was taking it for repairs and left in the kayak with the boat in tow. The witness later informed the owner, who reported the boat was stolen. The boat was recovered without a motor.

Holmes Beach

        Dec. 22, 7800 block of Palm Drive, disorderly intoxication. A witness report of two males banging on car hoods led to Holmes Beach police apprehending a man who appeared intoxicated and under the influence of a narcotic. He was arrested and transported to the Manatee County jail.

Dec. 23, 500 block of 65th Street, disorderly intoxication. Police were dispatched for a possible burglary in progress and found an intoxicated man near the front door of the home. The man had banged on the garage and front doors, leaving a small amount of blood. The man told police his parents lived there, but the owner said he did not know the man or want him on his property. The man was arrested and transported to the Manatee County jail.

        Dec. 23, 100 block of 52nd Street and the beach, ordinance violation. Holmes Beach police observed numerous beer bottles around a group of people at the beach access. The officer informed the group about the city ordinance that prohibits alcohol on the beach. Three people were issued citations for violating the ordinance.
