Pauline Willis Clum
Pauline Willis Clum, 78, died Dec. 21, 2016, while on a family Caribbean cruise.
She was the daughter of the late Judge Robert E. Willis Sr. and Dorothy Willis of Bradenton.
A lifetime resident of Manatee County, she lived in Bradenton and on Anna Maria Island.
She was a member of the Manatee Hurricanes drill team and graduated from Manatee High School in 1956.
She was named Realtor Associate of the Year in Manatee County in 1979.
She loved walking on the beach, collecting seashells and watching beautiful sunsets.

She is survived by sisters Barbara and husband Dan Center of Tallahassee and Mary Jo of Bradenton; brother Robert E. Jr. of Holmes Beach; daughter Melissa Perkins Nohava and husband Jim of Odessa and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Gleonic ‘Junior’ Ibasfalean
Gleonic “Junior” Ibasfalean, 60, died Dec. 22.
He was born Jan. 25, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio, and spent most of his life in the fishing village of Cortez.
To those who knew him, he was and will always remain a child of the Gulf Coast. It was there, near the waters of Palma Sola Bay, that he took in the warmth of a thousand sunsets through his bay window and watched the sailboats meander through the bay channel.
Over the course of his 60 years, he married twice, raised a family and maintained an unwavering love of being on the water.
To his friends, there are few people in the world who were more generous with their time, love and consideration.
To his parents, he was a playful, carefree soul who became a devoted and dutiful son.
To his brother, he was a best friend who would wade next to him, shoulder to shoulder, in the muddy waters of the bay on their way to the bus stop before school.
To his children, he was a constant and positive presence in their lives.

He is survived by his sons Cody and wife Jessica of Ruskin, and Austin of New York City; parents Gleonic Sr. and Betty Lou of Cortez; brother Cleonic “Nick” and wife Debra of Cortez; grandsons Landon and Reece of Ruskin; and niece Yolanda.
