Matthew James Klym

Matthew James Klym, 46, formerly of Bradenton, died Dec. 27, 2016, in Veneta, Oregon.

He was born in April 12, 1970, in Pittsburgh to James and Dianne Klym,

He worked for about four years in the Holmes Beach public works department before he moved about 18 months ago to Oregon to be near family.

A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, on the beach at the 77th Street access in Holmes Beach. Guests are asked to bring memories and a chair.

Survivors include wife Holly; mother Dianne; siblings Michael and wife Amy, Michelle Jones and husband Andy; nephews Tommy, Mitchell and Zachary Jones; nieces Carly Jones and Laurie; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

Edward Stanley Rawson

Edward Stanley Rawson, 58, died Jan. 4 at home in Ellenton. He was born Feb. 11, 1958, in Warren, Ohio, to Marcella Rawson of Ellenton and the late Stanley Rawson of Anna Maria.

He possessed a larger than life personality and an adventurous spirit. He loved sailing Hobie cats in the Gulf of Mexico, owning planes and flying from Airport Manatee.

Memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans’ Charitable Service Trust at www.dav.org.

A celebration of life was held Jan. 13 at Manasota Memorial Park in Bradenton. Manasota Memorial Park and Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by daughter Kathryn; mother Marcella of Ellenton, and brother Rod of Parrish.
