Jan. 15, suspicious incident. A report to a Manatee County Sheriff’s deputy advised of an alleged criminal event. A woman told authorities about a possible crime involving three males. A subsequent report indicated MCSO investigators determined there was no criminal act.
Jan. 24, 200 block of Iris Street, battery. An 80-year-old woman reported she fell in her kitchen and injured her wrist. EMS transported her to Blake Medical Center, where she alleged a battery had been committed. MCSO sent a request to the state attorney to issue a charge.
Jan. 25, 400 block Alamanda Drive, disturbance. MCSO deputies responded to domestic dispute and determined it was verbal. There was no sign of violence and none reported. A woman left to find other accommodations for the night.

Bradenton Beach
Jan. 23, 600 Gulf Drive and Cortez Beach, theft. A 30-year-old Bradenton woman reported her wallet containing $30 was stolen. She had placed the wallet under a blanket while taking a walk. When she returned, it was missing.
Jan. 28, Sports Lounge, 118 Bridge St., trespass warning. The bartender told a Bradenton Beach officer a woman gave her a hard time about paying a bar tab. An officer advised the woman she could be arrested for defrauding an innkeeper if she refused to make payment. Another officer escorted her off the property.

Holmes Beach
Jan. 26, corner of 45th Street and Gulf Drive, theft. The owner of a 26-inch purple Beach Cruiser bicycle, valued at $50, reported it stolen. The Holmes Beach woman told police it had been left unlocked at the trolley stop.
Jan. 27, Walgreens, 3200 E. Bay Drive, theft. An Anna Maria man reported someone broke his combination lock and stole his gray Giant Cypress bike with two saddlebags, after leaving it locked outside the store. It was valued at $250.
