Bradenton Beach

July 21, Summer Sands condominium, 1007 Gulf Drive N., criminal mischief. Damage overnight to pool equipment and other items was reported. A condo resident told Bradenton Beach police an unknown person threw 12 lounge chairs into the pool and one chair into the bay.

Entry to the common area had been gained by breaking a gate. The scene was processed for fingerprints.

July 24, Coquina Beach, 1800 Gulf Drive S., drug arrest. A Sarasota woman was arrested for possessing 6 grams of marijuana after a police officer noticed an odor of marijuana coming from her vehicle after park hours in the parking lot. She was arrested and transported to Manatee County jail.
