Manatee County workers tackle a problem in Holmes Beach the morning of April 20, responding to a call to repair 52nd Street after the Holmes Beach police department received a report of a sinkhole. According to Police Chief Bill Tokajer, the driver of a vehicle on 52nd Street, traveling behind the S&S Plaza, said the street opened under the vehicle, causing damage to two tires.
