In the continuing saga of the treehouse debacle, a local resident says that people now seem ok with the treehouse. I wonder which of her neighbors made the comment. I believe there are many residents that are fed up about reading of the continued abuse of the law over this issue. The owners are in the wrong, have had fines assessed, and should simply remove the eyesore. Once done, if they feel the need to have a personal viewing area in a tree, they can file for a permit, and if granted, build again. This pile of lumber in a tree is not for use by anyone other than the owner. Even guests staying at the property cannot use it. It’s time that the city and the courts simply say, enough is enough.
