Jerald Albert Matta Sr.

Jerald Albert Matta Sr., 73, of Bradenton and formerly of Anna Maria Island, died Nov. 19.

He was born Dec. 14, 1945.

He was a Michigan native who retired to Bradenton. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

A service was to take place in Holly, Michigan.

He is survived by his significant other, Doris Jackson; children Jerry Beardsley, Steffanie and husband Michael Shuck, Jeraldine Matta Kornak, Jerry Jr. and wife Tammy, Christine and husband Jim Fuller, Kelli and husband Edward Kubitski, Jaimie and husband Tony Costello, Jessica and husband Tony Ferrera, Autumn and husband Kurt Grover and Justin and wife Lauren; 27 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

 

Deona Jo Ann Ware

Deona Jo Ann Ware, formerly of Holmes Beach, died Nov. 18 in Bradenton.

She was born Oct. 12, 1962, in Macomb, Illinois.

She was a loving wife, mother of three children, five grandchildren and a sister.

She had a contagious smile that would brighten anyone’s day. She will be missed dearly by all who love her.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jeff; son William Swails; daughters Alisha and Celia; granddaughters Mckenzie, Cheyenne Bixby and Stella; grandsons Mason Luff and Brian Faasse; and brother Michael Haley.
