BRADENTON BEACH – There are some things nobody wants to see.

Bradenton Beach Police Department officers arrested a man, who does not have an address, June 5 for allegedly exposing his genitalia and violently resisting arrest, as well as trespassing, all misdemeanor charges of different degrees.

BBPD officers responded to reports of a man running naked down Bridge Street. They found him as he ran into the Island Time Bar & Grill, 111 Gulf Drive S.

When the officers removed the man from the restaurant, he tried but failed to escape.

Officers handcuffed him for transport to the BBPD.

The man allegedly attempted to break the police vehicle’s windows during the ride. He was warned to stop, then pepper-sprayed when he refused to comply.

He was transported to Manatee County jail, where he remained in custody under a $3,000 bond as of June 12.
