June 14, 200 block of Gladiolus Street, disturbance. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about drunken partiers “raising hell.” A deputy responded to an address and “educated” the people about the city’s noise ordinance.
June 14, 10000 block of Gulf Drive, overdose. The MCSO assisted Manatee County Emergency Medical Services after a woman was found unresponsive on a bench near Pine Avenue.
June 16, 500 block of Magnolia Avenue, noise. An MCSO deputy quelled a complaint about people being rowdy and loud at a pool.
June 16, 808 N. Bay Blvd., Anna Maria Motel and Resort Apartments, noise. The MCSO dispatched a deputy to respond to a complaint about loud noise at a pool. The deputy informed the noisemakers about the city’s quiet hours. No violation was issued.
June 17, 200 block of South Bay Boulevard, noise. The MCSO responded to a complaint about renters making noise all day. No violation was issued.

Bradenton Beach
June 11, 100 block of First Street North, larceny. A resident called the Bradenton Beach Police Department to report a rental bicycle stolen from outside his home. The complainant said the thief cut through a steel cable that secured the bike to a “big plant.” A BBPD officer obtained the bike’s serial number and registered it as stolen in crime databases.
June 11, Back Alley Treasures, 108 Bridge St., larceny. An officer responded to reports of a theft at Back Alley Treasures, where a manager alleged items went missing after a man visited the shop. The manager provided the officer with a name after the man purchased coffee with a credit card. Other shops in the area reported similar issues. The manager was issued a case number and the BBPD is investigating.
June 12, Coquina Beach, 2650 Gulf Drive S., found child. An officer responded to reports of an endangered toddler, found by a good Samaritan as he or she was about to walk into traffic on Gulf Drive South. The good Samaritan brought the child to a lifeguard tower, where the mother appeared. BBPD contacted the Florida Department of Children and Families for an investigation.
June 14, Gulf Drive Cafe, 900 Gulf Drive N., Marchman Act. BBPD officers responded to a call regarding an intoxicated man wearing only boxers causing a disturbance The man said he was drunk and had no place to stay or people to call. Officers transported him to Blake Medical Center in Bradenton.
June 16, 100 block of Gulf Drive South, disturbance. Officers responded to reports of a disturbance on the beach fronting the Moose Lodge to find two women involved in an altercation. The son of one woman had splashed water into the other’s drink, which sparked a verbal — then physical — confrontation. The pair began striking each other before being separated by family members. No charges were filed.

June 11, 300 block of 67th Street, theft. A woman reported two unlocked bikes stolen from her front yard.
June 12, 6400 block of Marina Drive, traffic. An officer was alerted by the license plate reader system to a motorist with a suspended license. Upon stopping a male driver, the officer determined his license was suspended for a year. He was arrested and transported to the Manatee County jail and his vehicle was towed.
June 12, 5900 block of Flotilla Drive, reckless driving. An officer responded to a report of a motorist swerving and blocking lanes. The female driver was charged with reckless driving and issued a notice to appear. Her vehicle was towed.
June 13, 5300 block of Gulf Drive, disturbance. An officer responded to a noise disturbance. Several people were arguing. The issue was resolved without incident.
