The Manatee County Supervisor of Elections mailed August primary ballots to people who signed up to vote by mail.
Ballots went out July 14 and are due to the SOE by Tuesday, Aug. 18, the date of the primary election.
Voter registration for the primary closed July 20 but registered voters can sign up to vote by mail in the primary until 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8.
Primary ballots contain nonpartisan judicial and school board races.
Also, Republicans will choose their nominees in general election races for state attorney in the 12th Judicial Circuit, District 21 state senator, at-large District 7 county commissioner and party precinct committeeperson.
