Voter registration for the general election continues until Oct. 5.
Registration requirements include citizenship in the United States and Florida residency. Voters must be 18 on the date of the election to cast a ballot.
The Manatee County Supervisor of Elections office also is taking requests to vote by mail in the Nov. 3 election.
Mail-in ballots for the election will go out later this month and early voting will begin Oct. 19.
