Sign of the times

A “for-sale-by-owner” sign hangs in a window of a trailer home in the Pines Trailer Park, 103 Church Ave., Bradenton Beach. Meanwhile, the trailer park owners have an offer to purchase and the buyers are doing their due diligence. The Jackson Partnership, owners of the park, announced their intention to sell in January for $16 million. In April, negotiations with the homeowner’s association to purchase the land failed, leaving some homeowners in fear of eviction. The attorney for the Jackson Partnership shared some terms of the sale, including a five- to seven-year reprieve for the homeowners.
