Bill Shafer of Anna Maria wins the third week of The Islander’s 2023 Top Notch photo contest with a photograph — taken July 18 overlooking Tampa Bay from the Rod & Reel Pier in Anna Maria. The photographer wins an Islander “More-than-a-mullet wrapper” T-shirt and entry into the finals, which offers a grand prize of $100 from The Islander and gift certificates from Islander advertisers.
