Islanders didn’t get an opportunity to cast ballots in 2023 due to a lack of candidates for municipal offices but they have three dates at the polls in 2024.
The Manatee County Supervisor of Elections posted dates for 2024 and they include:
- March 19, presidential preference primary.
The deadline to register to vote will be Tuesday, Feb. 20.
- Aug. 20, primary.
The voter registration deadline will be Monday, July 22.
- Nov. 5, general election.
The voter registration deadline will be Monday, Oct. 7.
