Bird nest catches fire in Holmes Beach

Larry Borg, of Bellevue, Iowa, captured the scene from his bungalow as a West Manatee Fire Rescue firefighter hoses a bird nest atop a utility pole that caught fire around 9 p.m. Feb. 12 at 5801 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach.
