A trio of organizations will bring people to Cortez on Thursday, Feb. 15, for a program on maritime history.
The event involves the Manatee Democratic Environmental Caucus, Cortez Village Historical Society and the Cortez Cultural Center.
At the center, 11655 Cortez Road W., Cortez, marine biologist Angela Collins with the Florida Sea Grant Program, will talk about “The Mighty Mullet.”
The event will begin at 10 a.m.
