Keeping people safe in AMI waters

A woman is consoled as a Manatee County lifeguard speaks May 18 after she was rescued from the waters off Holmes Beach. The woman was one of three people, including a man who drowned, who required rescue that day due to red flag conditions — high surf and/or rip current activity.
