Preservation push on Pine

Onlookers gather Oct. 8 outside Island Grub Restaurant as a 1920 cottage that had been at 106 Willow Ave. rolls along on Pine Avenue in Anna Maria. Cottage owner Lisa Knoop, real estate agent Jason Sato, builder Frank Agnelli and Roser Memorial Community Church coordinated the effort. The cottage was moved to 519 Pine and will be repurposed as a sales office for Sato Real Estate. The grounds already house the historic Roser Cottage, which will become a rental office.
