Work continues on former Lay-By Resort

Permits for work on the former Lay-By Resort, 105 White Ave., Holmes Beach, remain active as of Jan. 15, according to Chad Minor, city director of development services. The property was purchased for $8.825 million in 2019 by Nashville-based Coasting LLC, a firm representing country music power couple Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood.
