A Bradenton man was arrested March 19 after a traffic stop in Bradenton Beach led to the alleged discovery of marijuana, cocaine and more than $4,000 in cash, according to police and Manatee County Sheriff’s Office records.
Abed Joan Lopez-Reyes, 32, faces felony charges of possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of cocaine.
The traffic stop for window tint occurred in the 1800 block of Gulf Drive North.
Police searched the vehicle and reported finding 653 grams of marijuana in a backpack in the rear passenger area, grams of cocaine near the center console and $4,052 in cash in the vehicle and on Lopez-Reyes.
Lopez-Reyes was arrested and taken to the Manatee County jail in Palmetto. He was released March 20 on $7,500 bond.
As of March 20, no arraignment or trial date had been scheduled.
