Holmes Beach police arrested Connor McCulley, 22, of Uniontown, Ohio, May 25 on two second-degree misdemeanor charges for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and refusing to submit to testing.
Police found McCulley slouched behind the wheel of a parked vehicle with the engine running, with vomit on the ground outside the open driver door, according to a report.
McCulley failed field sobriety exercises but refused to provide a breath sample.
He was arrested and transported to the Manatee County jail, where he was released the same day after posting $650 bond.
If convicted, punishment for a second-degree misdemeanor includes up to 60 days in jail.
An arraignment will be June 30 at the Manatee County Judicial Center in Bradenton.
