Bradenton Beach
May 31, Wicked Cantina, 101 Seventh St. N., disorderly conduct. The BBPD arrested a man and a woman following a disturbance at the restaurant. A man allegedly threw a chair toward customers and a drinking glass at a door after staff refused alcohol service to his party. The man also allegedly got involved in a physical altercation in the parking lot. He was arrested for disorderly conduct. A woman in the group was arrested for resisting an officer without violence. The BBPD said she interfered with their investigation. Police issued trespass warnings to four others.

Holmes Beach
May 27, La Playa Encantada condos, 6006 Gulf Drive, trespassing. A property manager sought charges against a person found sleeping under a balcony. An HBPD officer arrested the man and transported him to the Manatee County jail.
May 28, Publix Liquors, 505 Manatee Ave., alcohol/trespass. A man was sleeping with an open liquor bottle next to him. An HBPD officer woke the man, who was trespassed at the store manager’s request.
May 30, 4000 block of Gulf Drive, battery. The HBPD responded to a reported altercation between a man and a woman. The man said the woman tried to restrain him from leaving her residence and he suffered injuries. The officer filed a capias request to the state attorney’s office for a potential battery charge against the woman.
May 30, The Doctor’s Office, 5312 Holmes Blvd., suspicious circumstances. A woman told the HBPD she believed she had been drugged during a May 13 date with a man. The man told police the woman became intoxicated during their date. He said she struck him while he was driving and she got out of his vehicle at another bar and he went home. He later called 911 and filed a police report. A capias request was filed for charges against the woman and Longboat Key police officers arrested her May 17.
