Holmes Beach police arrested Justin Deese, 39, of Winter Haven May 24 on a second-degree felony charge for alleged unarmed burglary of an unoccupied dwelling.
Deese was found in the property’s lanai area. A report stated, “It appeared Deese had broken the lanai door and was making his way inside the dwelling” in the 2900 block of Avenue C.
Deese was arrested and transported to the Manatee County jail, where he was released May 25 after posting $2,500 bond.
If convicted, punishment for a second-degree felony charge includes up to 15 years in prison.
An arraignment will be July 10 at the Manatee County Judicial Center in Bradenton.
