June 2, 100 block of Park Avenue, burglary. Manatee County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence where, May 22-June 2, a television was stolen from the living room. An unknown person entered the home and removed the TV, valued at $500.
June 5, 700 block of North Shore Drive. Lost trash can.
June 11, Anna Maria City Hall, 10005 Gulf Drive, found property. A person dropped off a found cellphone. It was placed with MCSO for safekeeping.

Bradenton Beach
June 11, 2800 Gulf Drive South, vehicle theft. A man reported his wallet was stolen June 9 from his unlocked vehicle. He had left it on the console while cleaning the Coquina Beach restrooms. The wallet contained $25, his driver’s license and credit cards.
June 12, 500 block of Gulf Drive South, burglary to vehicle. A woman from Illinois parked her rental car at Cortez Beach. She returned 20 minutes later to find one of her rear windows smashed. She told police a beach bag with sunscreen left on a seat had been taken. The items were valued at $10. Estimated damage to the car was $200.
June 13, 50 block of Bay Drive North, Pines Trailer Park, battery. A couple who lived together for five years on a sailboat argued over a pack of cigarettes outside a friend’s home. The woman was arrested after slapping the victim five times. The victim declined medical treatment and refused to sign a complaint. The aggressor was transported to Manatee County jail.
June 13, 2500 block of Avenue C, grand theft. A scooter was taken and returned to a Bradenton Beach woman after being recovered from the Bravo Supermarket parking lot on 14th Street in Bradenton.

Cortez
June 4, Paradise Bay Motel, 4406 102nd St. W., domestic disturbance. Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to an argument of a couple living together. The deputy observed no injuries and there were no allegations of physical violence.
June 7, 12500 block of Harbor Landings Drive, information. A door was found opened on a house check. Nothing suspicious was found inside.
June 8, 4400 block of 124th Street, domestic disturbance. Two family members argued over the radio while in a motor vehicle. One alleged the other slapped her in the face and the other alleged it was inadvertent. No injuries were observed. A deputy reported that no warrant or battery charges were warranted.
June 11, Paradise Bay Motel, 4406 102nd St. W., domestic disturbance. An couple’s argument ended with one of the parties leaving.
June 12, 12500 block of Cortez Road West, domestic disturbance. MCSO responded to a disturbance where both parties agreed the verbal argument never turned physical.
June 12, Paradise Bay Motel, 4406 102nd St. W., trespass warning. A man was arrested after receiving a trespass. He and a woman had failed to pay rent.
June 12, 4400 block of 123rd Street West, domestic disturbance. A deputy determined an argument between a couple never became physical.

Holmes Beach
June 7, Kingfish Boat Ramp, 752 Manatee Ave., burglary to vehicle. A $5,000 watch was reported stolen from a parked vehicle. The victim had been helping friends back a boat into the water when he removed his watch and gave it to one of his friends. The friend put it in his truck, which he believed to be locked. No damage was reported to the vehicle.
June 7, Jessie’s Island Store, 5424 Marina Drive, retail theft. Eight Swisher Sweet cigars were reported stolen. The suspects, two young adults, left the store in a black Ford F150.
June 7, 700 block of Manatee Avenue, license. A motorist was arrested for failure to have a driver’s license following a three-car crash.
June 9, 600 block of Flotilla, theft. A theft of a 12-place setting of sterling silver flatware March 13-May 3 was reported.
June 13, Manatee Public Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive, license. A man was found parked at the beach after it was closed. A Holmes Beach police officer determined he had no valid driver’s license and he was arrested.
June 15, 500 block of 69th Street, out-of-state warrant. A 50-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant out of Cochise County, Arizona. HBPD contacted a court official who requested HBPD enforce the warrant for a violation of her arson probation.
