Dec. 24, 700 block of Holly Road, vehicle burglary. An unknown person took $3,280 in items from an unlocked vehicle.
Dec. 25, Rod & Reel Pier, 875 N. Shore Drive, disturbance. A man allegedly was verbally abusive with a woman he’d traveled with from Alabama. The woman ran away and fell asleep in some bushes. At 1:45 a.m., she became frightened and called 911. Holmes Beach officers escorted her to a bus station.

Bradenton Beach
Jan. 4, 115-117 Bridge St., disorderly conduct/resisting arrest. A 56-year-old Holmes Beach man and an unidentified woman were at The Fish Hole Miniature Golf, where the man cursed and was asked to leave. Bradenton Beach police were called and attempted to take him into custody, when he pulled away from the officers. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and transported to the Manatee County jail.

Cortez
Dec. 27, 4400 block of 124th Street Court West, public urination/resisting arrest. A man allegedly urinated on a fence, stormed up the front steps of a residence and tried to force his way into the home. The man threatened to shoot the female occupant. Deputies found a man matching the suspect’s description walking along the street. He was uncooperative as law enforcement searched him for weapons. No weapon was found. The suspect was arrested for disturbing the peace and resisting arrest and transported to the Manatee County jail.

Holmes Beach
Dec. 29, 3300 block of Gulf Drive, burglary. Two TVs valued at $800 were stolen. A door may have been pried open to gain entry.
Dec. 29, 100 block of White Avenue beach access, theft. Two iPhones, $10 and a gym bag were stolen from the beach from surfers while they were in the Gulf of Mexico. The phones were tracked and found in the bushes. The bag and cash were not recovered.
Dec. 31, 500 block of 56th Street, marijuana. A traffic stop ended with marijuana and paraphernalia found in a 23-year-old Pinellas Park man’s vehicle. He allegedly consented to a search and admitted to smoking the drug.
