Twelve months of probation was handed down to a 22-year-old who tested at twice the legal limit after being stopped by police in Holmes Beach.
Christian E. Patterson, 22, of Bradenton, was pulled over for speeding and doing a wheelie in the 5300 block of Gulf Drive, according to the police report.
Patterson pleaded no contest and 12th Circuit Judge Doug Henderson found him guilty of driving under the influence.
Patterson’s sentence requires him to complete a DUI program, undergo an evaluation and treatment, if needed, attend a victim-impact panel and serve 50 hours of public service. The judge also ordered an alcohol-detection device installed in his vehicle for six months.
Henderson fined Patterson $1,607 in court costs and fees as part of his probation.
