Oct. 3, North Shore Drive and Cocoanut Avenue, hit and run. No injuries were reported in the 8 a.m. crash after one vehicle hit another and left the scene.

Bradenton Beach
Sept. 28, Historic Bridge Street Pier, 200 Bridge St., alcohol violation. A Colorado woman was ticketed for drinking an alcoholic beverage on the public area of the pier.
Sept. 28, Circle K, 103 Gulf Drive, trespass. A man was issued a trespass warning after he was found with a Mike’s Hard Lemonade allegedly stolen from the store. The officer returned the unopened beverage to the store.
Sept. 29, Bradenton Beach police station, 403 Highland Ave., domestic disturbance. While at the front desk, an officer heard screaming and shouting from the parking lot and responded. He found family members yelling at each other as a 15-year-old walked away. The officer interviewed the parties, referred them to a Bradenton facility and reported the incident to the Florida Department of Children and Family Services’ hotline.

Holmes Beach
Sept. 27, 3700 block of Gulf Drive, theft. Patio furniture —a rug, a wicker couch and chairs — valued at $1,500 was reported stolen.
Sept. 28, 6900 block of Gulf Drive, theft. A Texas trailer tag was stolen.
Sept. 28, 5000 block of Gulf Drive, criminal mischief. While on his route, a Manatee County Area Transit island trolley driver heard “a loud popping sound.” The driver stopped and observed a shattered window. Police suspect a rock or rocks were thrown at the window.
Sept. 30, 700 block of Manatee Avenue, hit and run. A man was arrested for leaving the scene of a crash with another vehicle after he was seen exiting his damaged vehicle on the east side of the Anna Maria Island Bridge. A Holmes Beach police officer found the suspect, who allegedly told police he left the scene because he was scared and had been driving on a suspended license. The man was transported to the Manatee County jail and ticketed for the license violation.
Sept. 30, 3600 block of Sixth Avenue, property damage. A landlord reported a broken window and missing items.
