Santa cruises to breakfast party in Cortez

Santa Claus and Elf Greg Koeper arrive to the Swordfish Grill and Tiki Bar in Cortez Dec. 18 for breakfast with a group of kids.

Riah Herring, 5, watches Santa arrive on the Eddie Lee Z Dec. 18 at the Swordfish Grill and Tiki Bar in Cortez. Organized by the Blessings Bags Project, a local nonprofit, children were invited from Turning Points and four other local agencies.

Santa’s helpers gather around Dory, who made a special appearance at a breakfast-with-Santa party Dec. 18 at the Swordfish Grill. Sixty-five kids received gifts, breakfast and a treat from CoCo Jo’s Italian Ice Truck.
