A naked man standing outside a residence on Anna Maria’s North Shore Drive April 28 startled a couple driving south on the road toward Pine Avenue.
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office investigated the incident, which occurred at about 8:30 p.m.
A report, with sections blacked out, states that the suspect committed two misdemeanor offenses: exposure of sexual organs and an unnatural and lascivious act.
The report stated that the male was “standing outside the residence completely naked. He was further described as intentionally … in full view as they drove past.”
The couple turned around to summon the MCSO and the suspect, a 63-year-old man, fled into a home.
The MCSO asked the state attorney’s office to review the case and possibly issue an arrest warrant.
Spokesman Dave Bristow said, “No charges have been filed.”
