Feb. 26, 200 block of Willow Avenue, noise. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about loud music and people yelling outside. The deputy found no violation.
Feb. 28, 100 block of Palm Avenue, noise. The MCSO dispatched a deputy regarding a complaint about a parked vehicle blocking a driveway. The vehicle’s owner moved the vehicle before the deputy arrived.
March 2, 500 block of Loquat Drive, larceny. The MCSO dispatched a deputy regarding a complaint about a missing garbage can. The deputy issued a case number so the resident could have the trash can replaced.

Bradenton Beach
Feb. 23, Sandcastle Dreams, 200 S. Gulf Drive, theft. The manager of Fun and More Rentals reported to the Bradenton Beach Police Department a locked rental bike had been stolen.
Feb. 27, Drift Inn, 120 Bridge St., fight, warrant. BBPD officers were dispatched to investigate a fight and followed a male suspect to Church Avenue. The man was arrested and taken to Manatee County jail after it was discovered he had an outstanding warrant from Manatee County for residential forced-entry and burglary.
March 1, Circle K, 2513 N. Gulf Drive, trespass warning. The property owner asked BBPD to trespass a man from the property. They issued the man a trespass warning.
March 3, Sports Lounge, 118 Bridge St., trespassing. The bartender approached a BBPD officer about a man causing a disturbance inside the bar and refusing to leave. The patron, visiting from Ohio, refused to leave the premises after warnings and was arrested and taken to Manatee County jail.

Holmes Beach
Feb. 23, 700 block of Manatee Avenue, marijuana possession. An officer from the Holmes Beach Police Department stopped a motorist driving without headlights. The officer smelled marijuana and asked if the driver had been smoking. The driver produced a marijuana cigarette from the center console and the officer issued a citation.
Feb. 23, Holmes Beach City Hall, 5801 Marina Drive, unregistered vehicle. An officer stopped a motorist in a vehicle lacking a valid license plate. The vehicle was neither registered nor insured. The officer cited the driver and issued a court summons.
Feb. 24, 600 block of Manatee Avenue, unregistered vehicle. Officers responded to the scene of a small crash and found a driver’s vehicle was not registered. The officers issued a court summons.
Feb. 25, 3800 block of Gulf Drive, warrant arrest. An officer on night patrol noticed a man sleeping on the beach. The officer identified the man and found arrest warrants for contempt of court and violation of a pretrial release program. The officer arrested the man and transported him to the Manatee County jail, where he remained in custody.
Feb. 27, 700 block of Manatee Avenue, no license. An officer stopped a vehicle pinged by the license plate recognition system. The driver did not have a driver’s license. The officer issued a court summons.
Feb. 27, 5100 block of Fifth Avenue, underage alcohol possession. HBPD Chief Bill Tokajer addressed a young person concealing alcohol. The chief confiscated the alcohol, issued a code compliance citation and called the person’s mother.
Feb. 27, 200 block of 72nd Street, noise. An officer responded to a nighttime call about a neighbor playing loud music and yelling. An officer used a decibel meter to measure the noise and found it violated city code. The officer cited the property owner.
