Linda Hipes of Perico Island shows off a box Feb. 10 that once contained jars of the “special recipe” pickles — soon sold out — at the White Elephant Sale at the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation, 4408 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach. Volunteers make and sell the pickles for the sale, as well as provide other sale items and baked goods. Hipes said a line formed for the opening of the sale at 9 a.m. and the pickles sold out in 30 minutes. Islander Photos: Lisa Neff
